GETout of office.
OOO Exeter · Pilot coming soon

Same work. Better company.

Your to do list isn't going anywhere, but you don't have to tackle it alone. Get Out of Office brings remote workers together for a proper working day in a great local space. No agenda. No pitching. No awkward networking. Just bring your laptop.

We're getting the first Exeter days together. Sign up to hear when places open.

Why OOO

A change of scene. Not a change of job.

Working from home has its perks. So does being around people. OOO gives you a little of both: space to concentrate, people working around you, and somewhere different to spend your working day. Call it social nourishment for the working week.

What happens

Three steps. None of them involve a name badge.

STEP 1

Pick a day

Find an OOO day near you and save your place when registration opens.

STEP 2

Bring your work

Laptop, charger, your usual workload. Settle in and get on with it.

STEP 3

Work your way

Chat if you feel like it, focus when you need to. There's no programme to follow.

Who it's for

Built for people who work remotely.

OOO is for professionals who do proper work remotely and, every so often, would rather do it around other humans. Whether your employer is down the road or on the other side of the world, you're welcome.

Remote and hybrid employees

You might work for a global bank, a Big Four firm or a tech giant, and your colleagues are a video call away. Your day stays the same; the room gets better.

Freelancers and independents

Welcome too, on the understanding that nobody is here to be sold to.

Anyone tired of the kitchen table

If your work fits in a laptop bag, it fits here. Same standards, better company.

Not a lead generation meet up. Not a business breakfast. Definitely not an icebreaker.

House rules

A few good manners.

Some people need to take calls; others need quiet focus. Every venue has its own practical arrangements, and we'll tell you what to expect before you book.

Calls considerate.Headphones on. Step away for long or confidential calls.
Pitches nowhere.Nobody is selling. Nobody is buying.
Introductions optional.A nod is plenty. Conversation is a bonus.
Respect the room.Quiet work, personal space and the venue's own rules.
Exeter first

Exeter first. More places next.

OOO Exeter is where we start. We're trialling the idea over three working days and learning what makes a brilliant shared working day. Leave your details and you'll be first to hear when places open.
